Unable to complete DBS check on ClubSpark Follow
As an activator you will need to complete a DBS check on ClubSpark as one of the mandatory items on your checklists.
The DBS check is required to ensure you have a valid ECB DBS and will match your details on ClubSpark with what is recorded on our ECB DBS database.
If you do not have an ECB DBS, you will need to speak to your Club Safeguarding Officer, who should be set up in the online DBS system and be able to initiate your application. Should you not be affiliated to a club, or if there's any issue with getting an application initiated, please get in touch with dbs@ecb.co.uk.
If you do have an ECB DBS but have problems with the DBS checking tool, it could be because the information on your ClubSpark profile differs from what is on your ECB DBS certificate.
For example, if you have used a shortened version of your first name, or different postcode (if you have moved address).
Please follow the steps below :
Go into your ClubSpark profile > Click on your name in the top right hand corner > Select the drop down 'My account' > Make sure that all the details here match up with what is on your DBS certificate> Save changes
The important things to remember are that your name, DOB and address on your DBS should match those details on your ClubSpark profile.
