How old does my child have to be to take part in All Stars or Dynamos? Follow
All Stars Cricket is aimed at children between 5 - 8 years old.
Generally speaking, there is leeway a year either side of this age range, but you will need to check directly with the club you're signing up to, to confirm they will accept a child outside of the designated age range.
If your child is under 5 and you wish for them to take part, you will need to check with your club and you will be expected to volunteer/help during the sessions.
If your child is over 8 they may still take part. You’ll just need to be aware that the sessions may be at a level your child will find less challenging and they may instead benefit from joining the Dynamos sessions.
Dynamos is aimed at children aged between 8 and 11 years and is suitable for both those completely new to cricket as well as children that have previously attended or have existing knowledge and skills.
If you are still unsure then speak to your local club as they will be able to best advise you to help you make an informed decision.
