Stripe is a third-party provider that takes payment from a parent and ensures the payment is split correctly between the ECB and your club. You are required to set up a Stripe account if you want to accept online payments in ClubSpark; meaning you will need to register your club’s bank account with Stripe before you can go live with your All Stars programme.
Setup should only take a few minutes, but once registered you’ll be asked to connect your account to ClubSpark and once both your accounts are linked (ClubSpark and Stripe) you will be able to automatically keep track of all the payments made via Stripe.
To set up your Centre/Club’s Stripe account, please log in to your ClubSpark profile, select the show checklist drop down menu in the centre of the screen, then select setup secure online payments.
If you already have a Stripe account but wish to change any details, please log directly in to your Stripe account to do this - https://dashboard.stripe.com/login
The login details should be available through your club’s Super Administrator or Treasurer.
If your club has an existing Stripe account, you will not need to set up a new account and will simply need to click on the link in the top right-hand corner; ‘Already have a Stripe account? Sign in**’
** If you are unsure of whether your club has an existing Stripe account, please consult with your club’s treasurer to obtain this information.
If you do not have an existing Stripe account, then you will need to fill in the online registration form, confirming:
- Where you’re based
- Your clubs (business) details
- Your (personal) details
- Your statement reference details (that will appear on customers’ statements)
- Your clubs bank details
Once you have filled in this form, please click on the link to ‘Authorize access to this account’.
